The Process
The nitial Consultation…
It starts with a visit. I come and we have a walk around your garden and then sit and have a chat. I will be finding out from you how you want to use your garden, what you like and dislike, what might need to be revealed or concealed etc. I then suggest a plan of action and how I can help to get the garden working for you as a beautiful yet highly functional space.
Preparation of garden masterplan and planting plan drawings
When drawing up masterplans and planting plans we first come to measure up the garden to create an existing site plan. Armed with this and the discussions that we will have had to ascertain how you want to use the garden etc the design process then begins in my studio.
Once completed I come to present them to you and the transformation can begin.
Liaison with landscapers
I have landscapers who I have worked with for years on a multitude of projects. Skilled workmanship, technical know how, reliability and good communication are what makes them so good at bringing designs to life. It can be a muddy process but its worth it!
Planting & follow up care
Once the hard landscaping is completed we then source and supply the plants from a range of trusted, quality nurseries. Once the plants are delivered we then place and plant them and can offer after care advice and maintenance if required.
